Featured-Husband & Wife Etsy Shops!!!!!!

I had the question in my head, Are David & I the only couple who each have a shop on ETSY? Well, I did find these two fun shops that belong to another husband & wife team.

Brandy has the ETSY shop:
RIYZEDESIGNZ
& her husband Dennis has:
ANDERSON SOAP CO.

Since I know Dennis would want me to do the gentleman thing and let his wife go first, I will do just that.

The first thing I couldn’t help but notice, being from Florida, was these gorgeous Emerald Ocean Earrings. These earrings are made with Emerald green and copper colored glass beads, gold plated sea stars and gold plated ear wires.
Earrings dangle 2 inches.
A fun pair to wear!

Also these lovely Blue Moon Earrings. These earrings are made with filigree copper antique looking findings and blue Lucite memory type beads.
Totally fun to Own
these earrings hang 1 3/4 inches

Brady is a member of PCAGOE-Polymer Clay Artist Guild of ETSY and has a wide selection of handmade polymer clay beads such as the following:
Animal Print Round Polymer Clay Beads & Starry Hibiscus Nights Polymer Clay Beads

At Anderson Soap Co. you can spoil yourself with all natural spa quality handmade soaps. As I look through this shop the soap looks good enough to eat and the names and combinations he has used makes just imagine lying back in a tub of hot water and just enjoying the aroma coming from the wonderful smelling soaps.

It was so hard to limit myself to just showing you three but finally I did.

1. Tango with Mango Soap Bars Mmmmmm......Mango do I really need to say more.
The scent of this bar is going to be a true hit!
Made with Shea Butter this bar will not only moisturize and leave your skin feeling wonderful. The Mango Scent leaves you thinking about the wonderful morning shower making you wish you could be home lathering up.
Bars weigh approx. 5oz.
Listing is for 1 tango with mango bar
each bar contains:
Distilled Water, Shea Butter, Vitamin E oil, Olive Oil, Sodium hydroxide, Essential Oil, Colorant gel.

2. Lime and Cucumber Melon Soap
Smells So Good!!! This soap lathers beautifully leaving your skin so silky smooth, fresh, juicy, clean and crisp and made with lime peels it’s a great gentle exfoliate.

3. Apricot & Lemongrass Massage Soap Bar
This soap is a exfoliating, stimulating and cooling treat poured in a mold so it massages while making you squeaky clean.

So come on in and take a peek at both of these fun shops, you won’t want to leave!!!

They say the eyes are the key to the soul.
What do you see when you look in someone's eyes????

WORLD WIDE AWARENESS!!!!

ORGAN DONATION:

GIVE THE GIFT OF LIFE!!!!!

Everyone at BlogCatalog hopes you will join us and blog this Wednesday in the first world wide blogger social campaign to raise awareness about organ donation and the issues surrounding organ donation.

Be an Organ and Tissue Donor

Help Create a Donation Friendly America!

Each organ and tissue donor saves or improves the lives of as many as 50 people. Giving the "Gift of Life" may lighten the grief of the donor's own family. Many donor families say that knowing other lives have been saved helps them cope with their tragic loss.

My husband was a organ and tissue donor, when he died three years ago. I am glad to know because of him being a donor he might have saved several other peoples lives.

The Shortage:

Each day, about 77 people receive organ transplants. However, 19 people die each day waiting for transplants that can't take place because of the shortage of donated organs.

How to get started:

1. Register with your state donor registry
2. Designate your decision on your driver’s license. Do this when you obtain or renew your license.
3. Sign a donor card now. Carry the donor card with you until you can designate your donation decision on your driver’s license or join a donor registry
4. Talk to your family now about your donation decision. Help your family understand your wish to be an organ and tissue donor before a crisis occurs. Then they will be prepared to serve as your advocate for donation.

Organs and tissues which can be donated:

Organs that can be procured include: the heart, intestines, kidneys, lungs, liver, pancreas. These are procured from a brain dead donor or a donor where the family has consent for donation after cardiac death also know as DCD. This is where the donor has not progressed to brain death.

The following tissues can be procured include: bones, tendons, corneas, heart valves, femoral veins, great saphenous veins, small saphenous veins, pericardium, skin grafts. These are only procured after someone has died.

Organs that can be donated from living donors include the lung, partial liver or pancreas and the kidney.

Polymer Clay Artists Guild of Etsy

PCAGOE-FEATURED ARTIST
SOHOBEADS
Polymer Clay Artists Guild of Etsy:

"Who inspires you?
My husband is my inspiration. He is always encouraging me. He brings me home presents (books, magazines, jewelry display cases) which will help with my jewelry business. He also carries my business cards with him and hands them out. How many men will do that? I am very lucky to have his support.
What inspires you?
Everything around me! I feel like I live in paradise. I live in Florida by the beach, so a lot of my inspiration comes from the beach, ocean, shells, wood, tropics, nature, etc.

Where do you create?
I have a room that was first a carport turned into a den and now my studio. I seem to have taken over the whole room, so will say it is my studio. I hope to one day have a real studio outside of my home.
How long have you been working with polymer clay?
I took two classes last year at Joann Fabrics, then did nothing. When I saw this group (PCAGOE) in April, I decided I wanted to join. I picked up my clay and started making things. I am pretty much a self taught artist. Polymer clay is so much fun to work with. The possibilities are endless."

Think Before You Blog

Featured Artist- STEELHORSE1

Today I feature Steelhorse1

I thought that since I feature different artist on my blog I should at least feature my husband’s shop one time. He just recently opened up a shop on etsy. His passion that he does for fun is photography. He has traveled all over the world and taken pictures of the different places he has been. I thought I would let you see a few of the ones he has in his shop.
Before we take a tour here is a picture of the man behind the photography, my husband, David.

First, let’s go over to Europe and see some of his pictures from there.
If you go to Europe it would not be right if you did not go to Paris. Of course, that means pictures of The Eiffel Tower(a black and white) and The Louvre(digitally altered)

Here is his description of The Louvre:
Each print is limited edition of 50 and is hand signed & numbered by artist. *note whether you want it signed on the back~if not noted, it will be signed on the front.
Media: Professional quality glossy photo paper (Matte finish can be requested at no additional charge)
Series: Digitally Altered Photos
Title: The Louvre 1/50
Size: 11X14 white mat, mounted on foam board, ready for framing, opening is 7 1/2 X 9 1/2
Date: 2003
Location: Paris, France
From there we move on to:

The Coast of Italy

A Morning In Spain

and then to: Life In Amsterdam
We cross over to South America and visit: San Paulo, Brazil.

On to Mexico as we love the Mexican Riveria where we went on a wonderful cruise:
The Race Is On

Mexican Sunset

And it would not be right if we did not include our own neighborhood, the good old USA.
Here are some pictures from California, Louisiana, and the state we live in Florida.
California-Reading Paper

Louisiana-The Blues Club

Florida-Lite Smoking Crab

I hope you enjoyed looked at these pictures and you take the time to have a look at shop as David is new to etsy and could use some loving!!!! Steelhorse Photography!!!
